All our headdresses are created and handmade in UK, exclusively by Ana Maria. Every design is available on a made to order basis. Therefore the work for each piece doesn’t start until the order for it is placed. Since the piece is handmade on an order basis, there might be slight variations in design details. However, these are insignificant and do not affect the overall result. Also, there might be a slight difference between the product and the images shown on the website. This is simply due to the implied photography techniques or the context. We are trying to offer you the most accurate perspective of our products, but if you have any particular concerns or queries do not hesitate to get in touch by telephone or email. Also, before you place an order please make sure you review and fully understand our Terms & Conditions.
If you decide to place an order, either in store, online or over the telephone we will make every effort to accommodate it with 4-6 weeks of the receipt of order. In the event of an unexpected delay, for standard orders, we will contact you with details. Never the less, we will do all we can to ensure that your products arrive well in advance of your wedding or special occasion, provided you have submitted your order in time or agreed to an express delivery service. Your order will be shipped by Special Delivery with Royal Mail. This is a fully insured and fast delivery at a flat rate of £5. If you require an overseas delivery, call us on (+44) 07879338464 to discuss your details.
As all our products are exclusively made to order, returns are available only in exceptional circumstances. We accept returns for damaged items and your order will be replaced. Unfortunately we are not able to offer a refund. If your piece requires any adjustments, you can contact us for a return and we will accommodate these alterations at no cost. If your piece is not delivered on time you are entitled to a full refund. However, these circumstances are unprecedented. We make every effort to live up to the highest standards and we take every measure to ensure full satisfaction for every client.
Also, we are unable to offer refunds for any bespoke orders. Since we spend time with our clients in appointments to establish their exact requirements and sourcing materials accordingly to create a unique piece, we cannot consider a refund. Nevertheless, if you are in any way unsatisfied with our products we will do our best to accommodate any changes to the bespoke piece to meet your needs.
In order to arrange a return for items delivered damaged or in any unsatisfactory condition, please contact us within seven (7) days of the receipt of your order. We will replace or make any required alterations to your products in shortest time possible.

Express delivery is a service available to those who wish to get faster in the possession of their order. When opting for the express delivery, your order is guaranteed to be shipped within 2 weeks. However, at times we might not be able to fulfil express orders. Please call us to discuss your details and establish if we can accommodate your requirements. Also, please note that this service is available at a surcharge of 10% of the total order value.
Many of our brides cherish their wedding accessories as true family heirlooms. Keeping your accessories in a good condition requires no effort. You should keep in mind a few simple rules.
Your products will be delivered in an eco-friendly card box and wrapped in acid-free tissue. On the long term, you should keep your accessories out of light, in a dry place. We recommend keeping them wrapped as you received them. When wearing your wedding accessories, you should try to avoid the contact with perfumes, moisturisers and other harsh chemicals. Embroideries can be dry cleaned only. This will ensure your jewellery will be in a good condition for a long time.
As you noticed on our website, most of our products can be set either on an Alice hair band, comb, pin or hair clip. The Available Settings section presents on which setting that particular design can be attached. For example, right now Radiant Leaves is set on an Alice band, but it can be also set on a hair comb, to give it more versatility. Or, if currently Gone with the Wind is presented on a hair comb, on choice it can also be set on an Alice band. This feature is part of our semi-bespoke service, where you can customise your order accordingly.
Considering wearing a wedding veil is great. There is nothing more bridal quintessential than the wedding veil. If you would like to wear a headdress as well you have to consider if it suits your style, or not. Some of the brides opt for a simple dress which allows the wear of heavy accessories. Some wedding gowns though, are a statement in themselves and adding too many jewellery or accessories might be a bit too much. Nevertheless, it is only a matter of taste and choice. In our collections we have many headdresses which complement very well the wedding veil. However, there are a few tips you should keep in mind when choosing a headdress to be worn with the veil. If you would like very much to wear a hair comb, you must keep in mind if your hair type and hairstyle allow a good grip. A comb needs a strong hair support; otherwise it might slip from your hair. Mostly a hair comb can be worn on a side or around a bun. Please do not assume that other support might not be suitable to you. You must feel comfortable on your wedding day, therefore your hairpiece mustn’t cause you trouble. The best alternative usually is the wedding hair band; however a hairclip or a hairgrip pin might also do the job. When considering your headdress please do not assume that a particular support won’t suit you. We love to work with colours. As you might have noticed each product is available in different main colours. The products on the website are samples and can be customised. For example, Whispering Wishes is currently available in gold hues, but we can also customise it in silver tones. A more eloquent example is Gold Flowing Leaves which is available also in silver and pink hues. Just get in touch, show us your dress fabric swatch, pictures and examples, and we will refer you to our colour charts from which, with our assistance, you can pick the most suitable colours. This feature is part of our semi-bespoke service.
If you would like to hide the Alice band in your hair, this can be done by your hairstylist. It depends very much on your chosen hairstyle. However, if it can’t be hidden in your hair, we can wrap the band with a ribbon matching your colour hair. This little trick isn’t available on the high street. It is a completely free service and it doesn’t come at a surcharge. Please do not forget to mention your requirements.
No, most of times the semi-bespoke service doesn’t presume a surcharge. If you require a different support or you opt for a different colour, then there will be no difference in price. However, if you require size and materials density changes, then there might be a variation in price.
